Dear Classic Car Friends:
Once again it is time for the Annual (seventh)
Farming Heritage, Inc. (FHI) Classic Car Raffle.
In keeping with previous year's
raffles, Farming Heritage is proud to offer a 1928
Model A Sport Coupe.
This nicely restored vehicle is in excellent condition and ready to
go. If you are the lucky winner, you will have years of
enjoyment from this vehicle.
Farming Heritage is a 501-(c)(3) not-for-profit
corporation whose focus is on the preservation and restoration of
historical buildings along with an active role in the economic
development in the village of Franklin Grove, Illinois. Since
their inception in 1995, Farming Heritage has taken leadership roles
in the restoration of the 1860 H.I. Lincoln building which now houses
the Lincoln Highway Association's National Headquarters and the
preservation of the 1868 Rooney Building that was headed for demolition.
Your support in our efforts to continue the
preservation, restoration and development of the Franklin Grove
Community along with continued fund raising projects by FHI will go
toward restoring the second floor of the H.I. Lincoln building to
recreate the Lincoln Hall which will once again serve as a community
gathering place much like it did in the late 1800's and early 1900's
along with other projects mentioned above that are currently in
progress. We invite you to visit Franklin Grove in person, or at www.franklingroveil.org.
This year's drawing will be limited to a maximum of
2000 chances. If less than 1500
chances are sold, the drawing will become a 50/50 drawing with the
winner receiving one half of the proceeds. The drawing will be
held during Franklin Grove's annual Christmas In The Grove on
December 14,
2007.
You need not be present to win. You will receive confirmation of
your entry numbers by mail.
We look forward to having you as a participant in
our raffle. The prize is well worth winning and the funds raised go
to a very good cause.
NOTE - You must be 18 years of age to
participate. Winner need not be present at drawing. The
winner is responsible for all expenses including title transfer,
registration, license, taxes and delivery costs.
