REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING VILLAGE OF FRANKLIN GROVE LEE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
FEBRUARY 8, 2010 MINUTES APPROVED MARCH 8, 2010 On February 8, 2010 the regular meeting of the Village of Franklin Grove, held at the Village Hall, 105 E. South Street, Franklin Grove, Lee County, Illinois, was called to order by President Robert Logan at 7:05 p.m.
ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Karen Didier, Tony Schaneberg, Chad Murphy, Scott Spangler, Keith Roop, David Atkinson, President Logan and Clerk Lori Smith. Absent: Attorney Ehrmann
RECOGNITION OF VISITORS See attached. Loralai Heitzleman and Duane Smith with USDA Rural Development advised the board of different programs and fixed rate loans available. Motion made by S. Spangler, seconded by T. Schaneberg to give Karen Didier the authority to schedule an informational meeting with Rural Development and community members to discuss programs available and allow up to $100.00 for expenses. Passed 6/0
VILLAGE CLERKS REPORT
MINUTES Motion made by K. Didier, seconded by D. Atkinson to approve the Minutes of the Regular and Executive Meeting of January 11, 2010. Passed: 6/0
BILLS & LATE BILLS Motion made by K. Roop, seconded by T. Schaneberg to pay bills and make necessary transfers. Passed: 6/0
POLICE REPORT See attached. Motion made by S. Spangler, seconded by C. Murphy to endorse participation in Nixle Community News Desk. Passed 6/0
ENGINEERS REPORT (Ralph Tompkins) Ralph advised that there is still no news on the Well House Grant. We are still waiting for signed agreement from IDOT on street work.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
STREETS & ALLEYS (T. Schaneberg Chairman) Trustee Schaneberg advised that he will be seeking prices for a new lawnmower.
WATER & SEWER (K. Roop Chairman) See attached.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND PROPERTIES (D. Atkinson Chairman) Motion made by S. Spangler, seconded by K. Roop to approve as a First Reading the Ordinance Establishing Standing Committees for the Village Board. Passed 6/0
FINANCE COMMITTEE (K. Didier Chairman) Trustee Didier passed out departmental budget worksheets.

ADJOURNMENT As no further business was brought before the board, a motion to adjourn was made by K. Roop, seconded by K. Didier and carried by unanimous vote at 8:26 p.m.
